Weekend in Brewood

Moored just down from us is this tiny little boat....would love to have seen inside.
Love the dustbins.......if that is what they are...
Saturday we shopped in the morning and partook of coffee etc in the Mess Bistro.   The dinner menu looked inviting (tapas type menu) so decided on a Saturday night dinner out instead of our normal Sunday lunch.   A wise decision as we had an excellent meal.

The Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin and St Chad's is a large early English church.  A good sized congregation with choir and a lively, enthusiastic, youngish lady vicar.  Everyone was very welcoming at the 10am Holy Communion service.

Afterwards I just had to pop into the Bistro again for a coffee and toasted teacake......

We decided to up sticks, turn ourselves around and go out into the open country ready for the trip back to Autherley Junction tomorrow.   This is decision time as we have the choice of 2 possible routes that we can take...Geoff is currently mulling them over.....watch this space.....
