Sunday in Foxton.

We joined John  for the Family service in Foxton church where we had a very warm welcome.  In addition the hymns were all familiar and we could have a good sing....unlike last Sunday.....

Enroute to church we passed this new sign

and this is what the bank is like for some distance either side of the sign

Admittedly further along there is better mooring but methinks either the sign is in the wrong place or a lot of clearing needs to be done.

Later we had lunch in the Black Horse pub together with John, Fi, Fran, Keith and Maggie

An excellent lunch with good service so the pub is thoroughly recommended.

Fran, Keith and Maggie came back for coffee and then we resumed our lazy Sunday lifestyle.
