We joined John for the Family service in Foxton church where we had a very warm welcome. In addition the hymns were all familiar and we could have a good sing....unlike last Sunday.....

Enroute to church we passed this new sign |

and this is what the bank is like for some distance either side of the sign |

Admittedly further along there is better mooring but methinks either the sign is in the wrong place or a lot of clearing needs to be done. |
Later we had lunch in the Black Horse pub together with John, Fi, Fran, Keith and Maggie

An excellent lunch with good service so the pub is thoroughly recommended. |
Fran, Keith and Maggie came back for coffee and then we resumed our lazy Sunday lifestyle.
