Still ambling slowly

Geoff is threatening that we will have a spurt when I return from Grannie duties!!!!

We stayed over a day on Thursday and walked into Congleton in the morning , about 1/2 an hour.  We caught the bus back to Hightown as we had stocked up on a few provisions, although this still gave us a 15 min walk back to Petroc.
Some work for me in the afternoon whilst of course Geoff siestered!!!!   I wanted to paint the gunnels on the starboard side but the rain was back by then....what a surprise.
Off early this morning as we had a date with Heritage Boats to have the engine serviced.   This was a noisy interlude as they were doing some piling work on the bank.  Barney was an instant hit with everyone there and was spoilt with biscuits.....
We moved  not very far afterwards in very convenient 48 hr moorings with a good view and good TV reception.....very important for Geoff at the moment because of the Olympics.....
