And so to Bath

Set off in the pouring rain this morning, water still shallow but we were not grounding as yesterday.   We passed interminable lines of boats again, and it was interesting when a boat came the other way.  We were just relieved that none of the boats coming against us were wide beams.  There are quite a few along this canal.
We did pass several interesting boats again......

I am not sure which of these three boats is our 'hit' of the day!

We also saw our third kingfisher of the year, in fact this one kept us company for a while

The moorings where we are are 72 hours so we shall avail ourselves of that time as we have friends Rosi & John Lillis arriving in Bath today to visit with us.  They also have an anniversary party to attend on Saturday.
