Wednesday was our final stretch of this canal, slow going but the weed did not seem quite so bad.
Just four locks today although a couple were very hard work......or so Geoff tells me!
We moored back on the linear moorings at West Stockwith. We had reconsidered our plans and decided that we could spend an extra day here and meet up with Epiphany and were looking forward to it. However when we say the forecast for the Friday it did not fill us with confidence, there was a nasty low approaching and talk of strong winds and lots of rain, so reluctantly we chickened out and decided we must depart on Thursday.
