Pollington....and still wet

If we had not woken to continued rain I might have considered our position in a more favourable light but it was just dreary!

The pub was all boarded up and there was no access to anywhere of note.  Even the permanent moorings looked sad

Still we decided to move on in the hope of better things......Geoff doesn't mind the rain!!

But the picture below shows what Barney and his friends  think of it

We planned to stop at Pollington as our guide showed there was a shop in the village 1/2 a mile away and we needed milk, so Barney and I set off......another disappointment........no longer a shop...

Since it was still raining and we are not in a rush we decided to call it quits for the day
