More visitors

Today we had Tony & Di with Grandchildren Honor & Lily for the day.  They arrived about 10 and after watering Petroc we set off......it was the twins first trip on Petroc.

Such a fantastic array of flowers

Both had a go at steering and did well........Tony declined the offer...he still has memories of taking the helm of Tickey our previous smaller boat and managing to give her a nasty thump on one of the bridges......seems to have put him off for life.  However he was better on lock operation.  Di had to confine herself to a more sedentary life as she had put her back out (too much gardening!) and was in some pain and walking with the aid of a rather smart stick.

He was good at the relaxing bit as well!!
We stopped for lunch at the former quarry a bit before Pigeons Lock.

When we were all replete we resumed our journey.   They had done a two car shuffle and one car was at Enslow in the car park of the Rock of Gibraltar.

We moored right outside the pub as the plan is to have lunch there tomorrow as we have more visitors arriving...........this is our week for visitors...........it has been a bit like buses.....you don't see one for weeks and then they all come together...........having said that it is lovely to catch up with lots of friends, some of whom we don't see very often.
