After mooring up I walked on and saw that all the 24hr places above the lock were taken although there was one space 48hr, just below the lock, but it is very narrow and dark there so decided we were better off where we were.

Admittedly not much sun and rather breezy but the forecast rain did not materialise and now the forecast says we are in for more hot weather.....
Later we had visitors. Tony and Di with friends of theirs Joe and Alison. After drinks on Petroc we repaired to the Brasenose Arms and enjoyed a very good supper together. I was glad I had booked a table as the place was heaving.
