Return Journey

Before departure Geoff and Barney did the walk into Measham again (gluttons for punishment) to get the paper.  This time they went by the more direct road route but it is still 3/4 of an hour each way.  Mizzling with rain and chilly.......come back sunshine....
Not too long a trip today.  The object of the exercise was to position ourselves with a good TV picture ready to water the Queens Diamond Jubilee Pageant on Sunday afternoon.
So we have moored at Shackerstone in a lovely open mooring spot.  There is even a church and a pub...no shop.  It is also the site of Shackerstone Station which is one end of the Battlefield Line which we plan to use on Monday to visit the Battlefield site. (Bosworth that is)
