Sunday in Pershore

The river is very low as you can see from our position on the quay....long may it stay that way.......

Today we went to Morning Communion in the Abbey which is surrounded by beautiful grounds and this interesting statue carved out of a tree stump.

The town has some lovely buildings and has a very clean and friendly air about it.  (Abbey seen in distance)

A string of MG's went past obviously to a rally, but I only managed to catch one on film.....  

No Sunday lunch out today as we have eaten out a couple of times this week.  Instead we had a lazy day (again!) I sat outside idling watching the river life.......what could be nicer on a Sunday afternoon......

Tried the washing machine and so far so good....no more leaks and the floor is slowly drying out so fingers crossed..........
